Fairbanks collection negatives

These come from an incredible collection of photos from a 1908 expedition to Yosemite and the Sierras by Harold Fairbanks, a geographer-geologist who obtained his PhD from UC Berkeley in 1896. I understand that these are faculty members — we can’t even get ours to attend the same coffee hour!

Photographic negatives from the Harold W. Fairbanks collection and papers (1894-1933) in the Department of Geography at UCLA. Courtesy of Matt Zebrowski.
