Google pushes the weirdest stuff to my phone. I happen to be waiting for some climate model data to process, which my janky R scripting has pushed my computer to the limits of its memory. So I pick up my phone and find this turd from the Hoover Institution. I’m open minded, I think, so I read on. His source for the “Finnish and Japanese studies” is Zero Hedge! It goes on like a screed. Climate science and socialism; an attack on liberty? Come on, guy. Climate deniers used to have some game. Now they’re just nutters. It’s not even fun anymore. And how does this get posted by Hoover at all? What’s wrong over there in Palo Alto? I’m going home.
